imagesRecruit staff who are aligned to your vision.  If they believe in your vision they will want to turn up for work every day.  When you are recruiting them, focus on sharing your company’s vision, rather than just what their role would be.  Discuss with them how they fit into the overall scheme and how they’ll help achieve the company’s goals.  Create a working environment where their ideas are openly shared and discussed.  Make sure every member of staff is aligned and working as a team towards a common goal.

It’s important to consider the company’s culture and values and the applicant’s attitude when you’re looking recruiting someone.  Personal attitude and values play an important part.  Staff need to believe in you and want to work with you – and without you when you’re not there to lead and motivate them.  It’s difficult to motivate someone who doesn’t want to motivate themselves.
